Athens is one of the most popular destinations worldwide. There are hundreds of daily commercial and charter flights coming in and out of Athens International Airport (ATH).

The Athenian means of transportation include buses, trains, metro, trolleys, tram and taxis. Especially the metro is considered one of the fastest ways of transportation, which in conjunction with the suburban railway and the train fully serve the Greek capital.

Access Arion Athens Hotel

Arion Athens Hotel is located in downtown Athens, on 18 Ag. Dimitriou Street, in Psiri/ Monastiraki.

From the airport you can reach the hotel by metro (www.ametro.gr and www.proastiakos.gr). Take the blue line M3 towards Aghia Marina, and get off at Monastiraki Station. Then you walk towards Athinas Street and take a left at Kalamida Street. The hotel is located at the end of Kalamida Street, on Ag. Dimitriou Street.

From the airport you can also take a cab (the ride is approximately 50 minutes –depending on traffic).

From the port of Piraeus you can take a cab or the train (Green Line with direction Kifissia) and get off at Monastiraki Station.

If you are driving, kindly be reminded that parking spaces are extremely limited in downtown Athens. However, there are several parking garages, where you can leave your car and be charged by the hour, day or week.
